Dermal fillers are made of a substance called hyaluronic acid which is naturally occurring in the body. Hyaluronic acid attracts water and has plumping properties which help to diminish deep creases and shadowing. Dermal fillers are very versatile and can be used to enhance features, smooth out lines or contour the face.

• Marionette Lines ∼ lines between mouth and chin

What to expect?

You will have an initial consultation with a Nurse to establish your suitability for treatment and to discuss any concerns or questions you have. All consultations are £50 which is redeemable against your treatment cost. If you decide to go ahead with the treatment a £50 non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your appointment on a different day. Both the consultation and the deposit fees will be deducted from the total cost.

Multiple treatments may be required to achieve the look you desire, your consultation Nurse will discuss this with you at and recommend an appropriate care plan to suit your needs.

Who will be doing the treatment?

At The Skin Suite® we believe in the highest standard of care, you will only ever be treated by a fully qualified and appropriately trained Nurse.

Does it hurt?

Fillers can be uncomfortable but local anaesthetic cream is used to alleviate any pain, many products also have anaesthetic within them which ensures the treatment is as painless as possible.

How long will it last?

Normally results last from 12-18 months but may last longer, repeat treatments may be required for maintenance. Results can vary dependent on area treated and how quickly the filler is metabolised.

Recovery time?

There is always a risk of irritation, bruising, swelling or discomfort to the site of injection. Recovery time is normally minimal.
